Blades Elementary School was so happy to host the Milford School District today, as we modeled implementation of the Bookworms curriculum!!!

On Friday, November 15, Blades Elementary held a special honor roll breakfast for students who eared honor roll status for the 1st marking period. We are so proud of all of these little blue jays!

Join the teachers and staff of Blades Elementary School for dinner on Tuesday, October 22 from 5-8 pm at Chick-fil-a in Seaford. Our school will receive 10% of all sales from this night. Dine in or carry out only, drive through service will not count

Blades MEET AND GREET will be on August 22, 2019 at 5:00 pm. Come meet the teacher, bring your school supplies, meet our new nurse, and stop at the transportation table. Teacher assignments will be mailed home today, August 14th.

Who borrowed the Blue Jay? Help us solve the mystery this summer!
Students of Seaford School District Elementary Schools….we need your help! This summer, join us at the Blue Jay Summer Mystery Camp to help solve the case of the missing Blue Jay mascot!

We will be meeting once a week on Tuesdays at Blades Park and the Seaford Library for 6 weeks as we try to figure out which principal took the blue jay mascot, which school they took it to, and for what purpose. Each week, you will solve puzzles to receive clues, along with many fun mystery themed activities.

For every week that you show up, you will earn points, and these points can help you get an invitation to our final session which is sure to be packed full of fun and games as we find out the answer to the mystery of the missing blue jay!

The last day of school will be a full day on June 12th. Our Summer vacation starts on June 13 - August 26.

The Delaware State Chamber of Commerce held the 2019 Superstars in Education award reception last night in Wilmington, DE. Blades Elementary School was rewarded in the amount of $10,000 for our Latino Literacy Program Project. Huge thank you to the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce and to the DuPont Grant. WOOHOO!!
