Blades Elementary students are getting excited for our upcoming field days. Don't miss out cheering your child and their class during their scheduled day. Please report to the back of the school and wait for your child's class to come outside.

Second Grade: May 15th ~ 9:00-12:00pm
First Grade: May 16th ~ 9:15-11:15am
Kindergarten: May 17th ~ 9:15-11:15am

Any child who will turn five years of age prior to August 31 of a calendar year is eligible to begin Kindergarten during the fall of that year. Dates for the Kindergarten registration period are made available each spring for Blades Elementary School and West Seaford Elementary School.

The Seaford School District will be hosting a Night of Celebration to highlight district students, staff, community partners, and recent successes. The Celebration will be held on Wednesday, January 16th at 7:00pm at Seaford High School. Make plans to join us for this special event.

The Seaford School District will be closed for winter break starting December 24 - January 2, 2019. Schools will reopen on January 3, 2019. Have a safe winter break!

Plan to join the Seaford School District for our Multicultural Celebration on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 6:00-8:00pm at Seaford High School. This is a free event.

SAVE THE DATE! Our kindergarten music and art showcase will be on Thursday, December 6th. Please see the flyer for the schedule time to arrive to your child's classroom. More information will be coming home closer to the event.

Blades will kick off our Fisher's Popcorn Fundraiser on November 5. Forms will go home with students on the 5th and the due date will be November 26. Parents/guardians can pick up the fundraiser on December 11 from 5:30-6:30pm in our gym. Please bring a ID to pick up fundraiser.

Congratulations to Seaford School District's Dana Bowe, a K-2 special education teacher at West Seaford Elementary School, for being named Delaware's 2019 Teacher of the Year!
